Questions about alignment
-
Oddest question asked of me at work, this week...
"So when I'm using the fixed sight on the MK19, do my nipples need to be aligned?"
For the record, I don't know if they do, I don't think it matters honestly and I don't want to know. However the posts on the sight blade do need to be aligned.
-
I recommend 32-bit alignment at a minimum. That's eight nypples.
Jebus you guys are slow today.

It has it's moments.

Else you'd cut off your nipples in one foul sweep.

Unless they're unaligned, then you might just cut off one.

A machine-gun grenade-launcher??

Yessir.
Wish they'd actually take us to a range to shoot one, or see one shot, but that's what it is.
Scariest thing about the MK19? It jams. A lot. To clear a jam you take a metal rod and jam it into the gun and beat on the jammed round until it pops loose.

SSRR TFY.

Pounding on a grenade sounds like and effective way to dislodge it.
Suicidal, maybe... but effective.

Maybe I misunderstand the question, but unless you have some kind of strange deformity, you have only two nipples and by the laws of geometry they are always aligned. Problem solved.

Zylon, a little under 11 hours earlier. Though his was just a random quick post rather than a response to a quoted line.

When my ex-wife had her breast implants inserted, her nipples were mis-aligned. One pointed up and one pointed down. She had to have another operation to get them to point the same direction.

And this is why, if ever I become a breast surgeon, I'm sure to have a spirit level handy.

One pointed up and one pointed down.
One aligned for pleasure, the other for duty. I can see the thinking behind that design.

Quoting Wikipedia: Often mistaken for moles, supernumerary nipples are diagnosed at a rate of 1 in 18 males and 1 in approximately 50 female humans.
This means human males have an average of 2.056 nipples each, and the probability of 13 of them (what a coincidence, that's the number of people in this thread) not having any is less than 50%.

Just checked, and I have the right number of nipples - and they're correctly aligned.
So that rules me out.
Anyone else?

I can make a star graph with my nipples.
Is that bad?

I have. It's pretty trivial to reinterpret and subvert the texts to match my own ideas.
Like, when The Accuser took Hesus Christu to "a high place" to have a chat, it wasn't a "mountain" and it wasn't a "temple"; it was in fact that they were homies and The Accuser brought the weed which they smoked and got high off.

Well, boys, I'm retirin'. I struck lightning. Yellow gold. Texas tea.

- It puts the 'T' in Texas!
2) The stereotypical cartoon representation of an oil well has the oil rushing up in a narrow column and spreading at the top to form a shape somewhat like a T if you squint and also are an idiot.

True, but irrelevant. Texas produces a lot of oil - it's the number one oil producer in the U.S.. There's so much oil that it's "as common as tea", resulting in Texas Tea as a slang term for oil.

Oh? How much tea does Texas grow?

i got really excited if this was a post about data structure alignment - in particular dealing with packed structures on embedded targets.
