Finaly a Front page WTF worthy of the title
Not the actual article itself though, just the new coments system,
looks appaling
Works atrociously
dosn't even give a simple route back to the man page
this should becomce course material for all web design classes as an example on how things should not be implemented
I hope this is not an indication of the type of design that goes into build master

RE: "We have never employed a developer I actually respected..."
I once had a manager who told a college
you dont have a dificult job. I could get a couple of women in to do that
Boy did i enjoy repeating that one to the woman from HR in my leavers interview when she asked me why I was leaving.

The garish colours indicate they are playing with the html layout. I use garish colours in the browser console to check that my CSS is working, because I can bloody well see if it is.
I didn't think i woudl be the only one.
looks like may of my homebrew sites whilst under constrcction to check the layout.

Does it mean "on a Sunday" ?
It might make sense to have different call forwarding rules for that... Although the sentence barely makes any sense at all.
Actualy for Avaya it is quite lucid

Well this should not be a problem here in the UK.
From the release notes for V9.0 of the Avaya IP Office PABX.
SIP96X1-9736
Centralized SIP Phones
During sunny day, when a call has been forwarded using enhance call forward the 96x1 displays the name of the forwarded party and the number of the Called party.
This is only relevant when an enhanced call forward has been invoked

RE: Apparently, the Linux kernel isn't important enough to bother with a backup
Why is anyone supprised?
Only wimps use tape backup: real men just upload their important stuff on ftp, and let the rest of the world mirror it ;) Torvalds, Linus (1996-07-20)

I think I'd be holding my breath the whole time.Hell I can even SSH into a remote system, shut down the SSH service, sedit the remote ssh config file & restart the ssh service all without tears
That would get fun if your internet connection was shaky.I said can, I didnt say it would be considered best practice, if I absolutly had to I would edit the config tine first & then issue a restart to the ssh Daemon rather than manualy stopping & restartin.
The point is that even replacing a file that is in use by another application is technicaly possible, but windows has not been writen to allow it because it is sdesigned as a single user os & rebooting one user is not a major issue.
