Functional Testing is for End Users

If only that was how it actually worked in open source. The majority of projects do not run that way.

The majority of projects are totally dysfunctional, yes. Sturgeon's Law applies.

open-source is bazaar style of development. please don't make me beat your head with newspaper roll @Arantor
increasing number of eye-balls will reduce all bugs.

That naivety is so cute.

increasing number of eye-balls will reduce all bugs.
If we include bad development desicisions as "bugs", a counter-example would be Firefox.

Then we should all change our icons.

I'll believe in the power of open source when I can believe in human beings being fucking decent and generally not retarded to each other.
Also, to quote the Joker, if you're good at something, never do it for free.

I found the start of the Valhalla Rampage posts - in how much and what they'd found - Â mildly amusing. There's still the occasional gem in the day-to-day more mundane stuff passing through.

That is why I like IE11
Is it an IE11 feature to transpose the last 2 letters of random words you submit in text inputs?

It is a Nagesh feature to submit gibberish that sometimes resembles English words.
-
Those are when he fucks entire words, like chicken and chikun
End-of-word transpositions are new, even for @Nagesh

It is a function of the fake Indi plug-in he's using.

Where can I install this? I might be working with some outsourced devs soon and I want to blend in.

I think "browsre" is a British English form. Like "centre" or "fibre".
And India was part of the British Empire once!
-
I think it's spelled browsoure over there.

I think it's spelled browscourse over there.
JTFY (Jeff'd that for you) Browscourse is a revolutionary new browser that appends new content to the bottom of the page when you click a link, allowing you to scroll the entire web infinitely!

It should also onebox all links that it finds on the page.

That is... GENIUS! Give this man a cookie. And get legal on this, I want to know how to steal this idea without him suing!
What do you mean this is not my IM window?

Will there be 'like' buttons?
Will it have a mobile version that is just not quite usable on any mobile device?

It's a browser. Does that answer your question?

You have my full backing. Make sure you get your prior art out there before Jeff gets a chance.

The entire web rendered as a twitter feed and/or facebook wall? Hell, almost every website I go to now seems to do that, why not just go ahead and do it to the whole experience. Use Dicsourse's unload the backend idea and you wouldn't have to worry about overloading the PC. And since everything would be in a single stream, you could ditch the now useless back/forward & refresh buttons on the browser for an even cleaner UI.
Sadly that would probably catch on. Firefox would be all over it, I mean then you could inline an endless number of grumpy cats!

Hey, you know what else bothers me as a web developer? HTML. While we're reinventing the web, why don't we get rid of that clunky standard and use something new and hip like Markdown?
-
So in other words, you invented Facebook and Twitter again?
-
InfinigrumpTM
-
So isn't that basically just Twitter?

XMarkdown Strict!
-
So is this XMarkdown Transitional we're using?
-
XMarkdown Strict!
No no, we need transitional first, which allows BB-code as well. No HTML though, we don't want that old thing anywhere near our shiny new stuff.

As long as you can spin images, I'm happy.
