Virgin Media search WTF
-
When I type "bugzilla" into the URL bar of my browser, I am redirected to Virgin Media's advanced search. Just look what comes up in the body of the page though:
http://advancedsearch2.virginmedia.com/main?FailureMode=1&FailedURI=http%3A%2F%2Fbugzilla%2F

I think someone may have some malware on their machine that's intercepting searches done from the address bar... And I don't think Virgin Media is the WTF here either...

My broadband is provided by Virgin, and the redirect to their search engine is expected (I can turn it off if I want). Interestingly, "bugzilla" is the only word I have found which causes this behaviour, all others result in a normal search.

...except the URL given in the OP also takes me to "Top suggestions for porn" as well. Hmm, I didn't think of that. Possibly a badly implemented filter by Virgin then?

Disgruntled web developer with a hatred of bugzilla?

Quite possibly. Removing the 'a' at the end of the URL produces more conventional results (as does adding an extra 'a' on the end.)Disgruntled web developer with a hatred of bugzilla?
