• Re: This graph may or may not be plotted on a log scale

out of 1000 people who were given birth to by a woman
As opposed to whom? Arnold Schwarzenegger? And "by selected age of mother" implies that out of 1000 women that age, this many women have given birth. Plus, I think that post was sarcastic, though I ...
Also, what's most surprising is that teen pregnancy rate is going down. Next time you'll tell me teens are getting more responsible.
Well, looks like we have evidence that they are becoming more responsible... I mean, I'll tell you that as soon as I discover what "Birth rate by ...

  • Re: Early filing penalty
Because theres hundreds of former filing clerks from that mine who now blasts holes in the ground for oil and gas wells. Surely nobody will be able to identify him.
Depends, on what cabinet they keep their piromaniac-ex-eployee file? I bet they'll need years just to locate it.

  • Re: What year is it? Let me check the database...
Ah, yes. year_id: PK, int, not null. Name: varchar(50), not null. It all makes so much sense in retrospect. We're all set for those 50 digit years.
Gotta think long term. What if people are still using this software when the Universe gets into heat death, and then randomly ...

Not to detract too much from the Ribbon bashing (go on, it's great to beat a dea horse - again), but:
also, no one in the history of ever has used Excel on a tablet
Well, ok, not Excel, but I have used a couple of spreadsheets on a tablet, when trying to make a graph from some data.
And meaningful enforcement is impossible without extensive, complex regulation that covers every possible situtation.
Sorry, but that is, indeed, very difcult for me to understand. How does the MtGox situation differs from any other corporation that was stealed or commited fraud (depending on the ...

  • Re: I sense a mouse

Yep, Intelisense. That stupid thing that makes VisualStudio take 10 seconds to update a character after you type. Yeah, it's nice, but would be better if it worked.  Anyway, Microsoft periferals are great. They are quite well made, and usable... Just don't try to plug them on Windows, beause they come with Microsoft software. And ...
Good luck finding anything pre-compiled in open-source land. Also, I've tried playing with Ruby on Rails on Windows. It's a nightmare.
