The RWTF, you ask? That the person in charge here thinks this is all not only acceptable, but awesum(tm).
I hope you mean the person in charge of Lotus Notes, and not the person in charge of the company.
The person in charge of our Lotus Notes installation ...

True, true... Although right nowwe have a new problem... Notes recently started to collect all email addresses it ever saw, and helpfully uses them in a dropdown list when you start to type into the To: field.Just like almost every other program you know. The trouble is, in a business setting, it collects private email addresses (well, my ...
I once had a conversation via e-mail with an Italian customer. My e-mail system had English settings, so prefixed the subject with 'Re:' (unless it already had 'Re:' at the beginning). His did the same thing, but used 'Ri:' instead of 'Re:'. The result: Re: Ri: Re: Ri: Re: Ri: Re: ...

  • Re: Sorry, you're not elegible because of reasons

Eh, for $REASONS I have a 50GB Box account for some time now, never really use it (tend to use Dropbox and Copy...). I can refer people for 50GB accounts as well, and it does not seem to be limited to specific email addresses... so if anyone wants to try...
Very good point. I wonder why they'd want to break backwards compatibility AND use a trademark they don't own...
Probably because the standard says it is ok. http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec-preview/system-state-and-capabilities.html
The awesome thing is that the Much Visited tiles are broken. I think they're broken in every single browser. The top three tiles in mine right now are two different google searches, and a picture of a TDWTF 500 error. The fourth is tumblr, which I visit a lot. The thumbnail has no images. The fifth, twitter, ...

Looks to me as if the point is that he had to switch to compatibility mode to make it load in IE (the little torn paper symbol is now highlighted). Amirite?
The first time I heard of Windows Media Centre was while playing Guild Wars on Windows Vista. It introduced itself by taking up a chunk of my already-limited resources while I was trying to play a game and starting up. To it's credit, I think it started up in the background, and I was eventually able to find a ...

  • Re: Media Center is right on track with my expectations this time
I used to like Winamp, spent many hours creating visualizations, but it did get a bit crashy; even with visualizations off. VLC is great for videos (fansubbed anime...), but I use WMP for music.
I used Winamp as well back in the days, but I have since switched to foobar2000. Clean interface, no ...
