    Hit and Run Build Breaker

A friend of mine made this recently.  It's awesome.  I hope they flog that guy.

    Hit and Run Build Breaker

It's a parody of Anheiser-Busch's Real Men of Genuis about a guy that breaks the build and then leaves the office for the weekend.

We have a 'funny stuff' forum. I think that would be a more appropriate place for this.

Strange, until you said that, I didn't even realized there was a forum on this site.

We've got some of those. They're called outsourcers. I think I'll start sending this link to them whenever they break a build, from now on. ;)

Yeah really, especially when you look at the other thread he started: http://forums.thedailywtf.com/forums/p/2278/57608.aspx#57608

There, I fixed it. Of course anyone who actually thought about it would've known what was intended, but hey, why bother thinking when you can just assume everyone means exactly what they say and nobody ever makes mistakes?

In fact, I think he might have not been aware this is an actual forum system. I originally thought this was basically an extension of the Daily WTF system, allowing anyone to post (registered users, as opposed to Editors like the main articles/threads.)

Only later I found out that it was an actual forum system, and that it actually has more forums than the "Sidebar WTF" one.

The guy's been registered for 2.5 years so it is really doubtful he was unaware that this was forum software.

Not to mention, if you look at his post that I referenced, he specifically mentions these forums.

Sure. Of course you're right. People shouldn't have to type out what they really mean; it's so much better if they just think it and post partial thoughts to the forums and everyone else just reads their minds to find out what they really wanted to say.

Let's try that here, for example. You posted the above, and I can use my amazing mental powers to read your mind and see that you really meant to post: "Of course anyone who actually reads something as stupid as I'm in the process of typing is also stupid enough to buy that bridge I bought in Brooklyn last week and haven't been able to unload, so I'll post this idiotic message and maybe hook some other pathetic losers like me and find a sucker to take it off my hands." Gee, you're right! That's much better!

If you quit being such a jackass you might realize that, since the written word is the only means of communication on the forums, it's important to actually use the REAL WORDS you mean to say here.

(Think this softly so curtmack can't tell...) "Of course, if you can't comprehend that maybe you really would buy that bridge... " (Aloud:) Hey, curtmac. I've got this bridge in Brooklyn for sale cheap. It's a toll bridge and has tons of traffic every day, so you'll get a really quick return on your investment. Would you be interested? It'll make you rich really fast!
