    Emmit Smith

Just found a page full of WTF for you all.  I don't watch ESPN, so I had no idea this phenomenon was going on.  Emmitt Smith doesn't know english:

    http://walterfootball.com/emmitt.php

I'd say skip through the Simple Emmitts, and the sections that aren't actually Emmitt quotes.

Enjoy, but here are my favorites:

"Tom Brady is buyin' time for his lineman." (Commentary: And here I thought that offensive linemen were "buyin' time" for the quarterback.)

"You cannot change the stripes of a leopard." (Commentary: Now, Emmitt, repeat after me. A cow says moooo...)

SpectateSwamp: I can see you. You don't have to hide anymore. C'mon out and play!

Curses!  Misspelled the thread title, but somehow I spelled it right in the post.

Yeah, he says some funny stuff.   On Sundays when on TV, he seems to consistently wear a tie that is a good 6 inches shorter than most people wear ties.  I don't know if he does this on purpose or not, but it always cracks me up.

Pray for a tighter bomb pattern.

I love when people are ridiculing other people for making stupid mistakes and, in the process, make one themselves.  Matt Parkman is telepathic, not telekinetic, asshat.

"You can call me anything you want, just don't call me late for dinner" "Or penis-butt."

For sports journalism WTFs see one of my favorites http://firejoemorgan.com

There are three kinds of people: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who wonder what happened.

So, it's like Colemanballs, only twenty-something years later and less original?

TRWTF is that those aren't actually funny.  Not even before you explained them.

I thought it was about time for the counter-mug to emerge on these forums.

Thank you shadowman.  I was afraid a lot of people hadn't liked the thread.

Admittedly, some of the quotes on the emmitt page are just simple word slip-ups, but there are some gems in there.

Damn!  I really thought I had something with the gum:

Gum or counter-mug, either way, this thread does not deserve the mug.  I only didn't post because these were old hat for me.
