    Product packaging WTF

This is suppose to be a real product packaging for some sausages for a supermarket in Ireland, before the supermarket relised the problem and withdrew the product.

Background: Ainsley Harriott is a TV chef in the UK (I think he came over to the US at one point), he's an alright guy but can be a bit annoying at times, and does get overly excited and irritating on his shows.

Is it just me, or do those ingredients look like a whale?

Linux is not a code base. Or a distro. Or a kernel. It's an attitude. And it's not about Open Source. It's about a bunch of people who still think vi is a good config UI.

JPEG artifacts make you hallucinate. The sad thing is that I see it too.

Meh... looks like a photochop hoax to me. I can't believe that no-one would have spotted that before it hit the shelves.

Also, it seems unusual for the cooking instructions (or at least, one of the instructions in particular) to be in a relatively big font on the front of the package.

That was pretty much what I guessed.

I miss b3ta. Blocked at work, and it doesn't really take kindly to being viewed on a 240x320 phone. Plus I don't have the time to play around with Photoshop at home any more. :-(

Dam, I had a feeling it was a myth/hoax, that would have been sweet if it was true, still funny though, excellent word play.
