    Friday 2006-10-27 WTF, Foxpro disappeard

Out of curiosity, what happened to the daily WTF article from Friday.

It seems to have been erased?

It is a feature. It is designed that way.

The article was retracted for professional reasons. It's easy to forget that the “Real World” and the “Internet World” intersect, and that presenting a one-sided story on the 'net without a cloak of anonymity does have Real World consequences. Especially for a self-employed consultant in a small city. I chose to retract the article and can only hope that the bridges I did set on fire didn't burn all the way down ...

I'd be willing that the bridges were already on fire, but everyone failed to notice until the article was posted... lol ;-P

That's about the only reason why I don't post 3 WTFs on average per day.

Well, you know what they say: if you're going to burn your bridges, make sure they're well-done, 'cause some day you might have to eat them.

     Wait...

Unfortunately for me, I didn't even had the chance to see the article...

    Well, better luck next time...

Yeah, that's fair enough ... I was slightly surprised to see a WTF that was openly from you in the first place. You can still 'submit' WTFs, though, right, as long as you don't say 'It's from me, guys' ;)? I'm sure you have some great WTFs to share.

I don't think it's too much of a disaster to have this one pulled, it was an OK WTF but nothing spectacular. (Obligatory demand for code-based WTFs goes here.)
