TRWTF is that there aren't more of these, especially at stations like Dupont Circle in DC or Moscow. Video at the link. I would totally ride the subway more.

At first I thought "this is as much a WTF as bacon" (i.e., not at all; instead, awesome), but than I saw it ends basically in the ground. Wouldn't it rip your pants every time you try to use it? The end should be at knee level above the ground. IMHO.

But other than that, awesome invention. Now they just have to make a similar invention to go up the stairs.
