    Re: Starting at $NaN.00

    For a laptop with x-hour battery, that's pretty non-adjective.

But I see the wtf: the picture must be wrong, because that doesn't look like a 25:12 screen.

Edit: then again maybe it is...

If mixed metaphors were illegal, I'd be having an indigestion.
    typeof NaN == 'number'

Even if I had $NaN to spend, I don't think my backpack can hold x.xx lbs, and my classes tend to run longer than x hours... not so sure this is a great buy...

    Found another one:

    http://www.lexus.ca/lexus/experience/en/home/vehicles/LX5702008/veh_intro.jsp?model=LX570&year=2008

And according to the disclaimer that NaN doesn't even include taxes, fees, shipping or licensing charges...

And according to the disclaimer that NaN doesn't even include taxes, fees, shipping or licensing charges...
2008 model year LX 570 sport utility vehicle: $ NaN
    Luxury Option Package: $ 7,350
Shipping to dealer fee: $ 650
Windows CE 5.2 licensing fee for Windows Automotive with SYNC: $ 325
5 years of free Sirius/XM (not negotiable or refundable): $ 2,500
    Pre-tax subtotal: $ NaN
    State Tax on Vehicles: 14%
    Subtotal: $ NaN
    Gasoline fee: $ 145
    Total: $ NaN

The taxes, fees, and other charges don't add that much. :P

... Community Server, why do you strip <DL> tags, but don't indicate this in preview or in TinyMCE? *sigh*

Javascript NaN WTFs are probably the lamest ones, so I propose an amendment to the Javascript spec that will help weed them out: we need to change "NaN" to something so offensive that not catching it before release will result in the company going down in flames.  Something like "DeathToNiggers"* or "IPeeOnAbortedFetuses"**...

    * Not racist, just trying to come up with something so offensive that it would be a PR disaster for a company that let the bug slip out and would put the fear of God into JS programmers.

    ** Not anti-fetus or pro-peeing-on-aborted-fetus, either.

Wuss.  Why are you so afraid to take a stand?  I'm not: I pee on fetuses, regardless of their abortion status, and I'm not ashamed of it.

No, it's obviously libre rather than free as in beer. So you can

    0. use it  for any purpose

    1. study how the it works, and adapt it to your needs

    2. redistribute copies so you can help your neighbor

    3. improve it and release your improvements to the public, so that the whole community benefits

    with your Sirius/XM

I Prefer to just stick the fetus in a deep fryer.   Tastes better that way.....  Mmmm... fried fetus...

    Creaping you out since 1981!

Well, they look a lot like chopped tomatoes after you've given them a good tenderizing with the steak-hammer.

Sticking a fetus in the deep fryer gives a whole new meaning to "one in the oven"?  That's an interesting theory you have there...

TRWTF is that it's advertised as being able to be carried in a pocket, despite having an 8" display.

Finally, a TheDailyWTF thread that doesn't degenerate into unstoppable exchanges of insults.  It's good to finally see a high-quality thread.

    Death to Fetuses!
