DOA:spend the whole wad in one crazy booze-fuelled night of drugs and sex on a few sips of watery pilsner and a single, over-the-sweater rub, probably accidental anyway but you take what you can get, and masturbate over it later. FTFY.

Eternal Density: The other day my dad received a cheque check in the mail from our phone company, for the insignificant amount of $2.40. There was absolutely no explanation for why they sent this. Also, it was originally sent to an address at which we have not lived for ten years. This is what happens when you let machines send mail automatically!
FTFY I don't think that the address part is the machine's fault per se. I think that they simply aren't pointing to the right DB that has your current address, or at least the latest entry in the DB. Stupid programmer error.

Stupid programmer error. Why would he be WTFing a bill for $2.40? It sounds like they gave him money. From Princeton University: check (n) (13 definitions): 1. a written order directing a bank to pay money; "he paid all his bills by check" , 3. the bill in a restaurant; "he asked the waiter for the check" cheque (n) (only definition): 1. a written order directing a bank to pay money; "he paid all his bills by check" And I thought programmers were all about being precise...

The other day I got a bill in the mail from the phone company. I had shut off my phone service halfway through the month because I switched to cable internet and didn't need the DSL anymore. So I got a notice in the mail demanding that I immediately pay the ~$34 in credit on my account. So far I have ignored it, I'm hoping to get a shut off letter or a collection letter next.

Unfixed that 'FTFTFTFTFYFYFYFY ' for you. Any attempt to convert to a foreign currency is wrong since the exchange rate has changed in the intervening days :P TRWTF is that I spent 85.7 AUD for purchase and postage of a Weighted Companion Cube plushie...
Mass Effect 2 FTW!
lolwtf: Instead of comfy chair, package contained bobcat. Would not buy again. curtmack: It's like Godwin's Law, but instead of Hitler it's xkcd references. morbiuswilters: Right, but the Holocaust wasn't nearly as bad as xkcd.

I did receive a 0.10$ check by mail for terminating my Bell phone account in Canada last year.
With each step taken to refund the 10 cents, that would have cost to the company:
0.03$ in salary for the guy that watched the printer printing 0.02$ for the ink used to print the check 0.10$ for the check itself 0.01$ administrative bank fee for making that check 0.15$ for the envelope 0.54$ for the pre-paid stamp 0.02$ for the electricity used with all machinery 0.08$ in salary for the guy who took the mail stack to the post office -------- 0.95$
A lot of people can eat with this amount! FYFTFMD
